Kinda hard to be anti-dragon in public when the existence of the world hinges on NOT pissing them off at the moment. After the development in this chapter, I was wondering how long it would take the author to get to the arcs about anti-Dragon bigotes and Ruri's fight against anti-Dragon prejudices.
Protip: the planet wouldn't give a fuck. There have been radical changes of climate in its history aplenty, including biogenic ones (those caused by living organisms). Take the Great Oxygen Catastrophe as an example.the slightest climate alteration could be devastating for our planet
Well, we're talking about bigotes, so if we were to frame this as some kind of message, we could introduce a group of fanatics whose intolerance would bring the world to the brink of disaster. In the spirit of science fiction stories with something as a metaphor for nuclear weapons. But I'm afraid that such a plot would be too political/require a high level of epicness, which at first glance doesn't seem to fit well with the SoL elements at this point.Kinda hard to be anti-dragon in public when the existence of the world hinges on NOT pissing them off at the moment.
Plus, the govt is dealing with things in the background.
I remember hearing rumors that this wasn’t as popular in Japan as America and really thought the time had come… but turns out it’s the opposite lol, America takes the L on this one.The title was such a jump scare.
If it wasn't popular it wouldn't have gotten renewed after a 2 year or so hiatus after just 6 chaptersI remember hearing rumors that this wasn’t as popular in Japan as America and really thought the time had come… but turns out it’s the opposite lol, America takes the L on this one.
feels like author doesn't know what to tell with this storyI feel like the author just isn't equipped to handle the worldbuilding ramifications of a global dragon conspiracy and managing the climate system with a counter-dragon to cover up ruri blowing away a storm once. like, every time I get an explanation I end up with more questions and there's only so far you can take that
People usually mean the biosphere when they are talking about the planet. Rapid changes would and are throwing off all kinds of natural processes. That goes back the extinction of the Ice Age megafauna.Protip: the planet wouldn't give a fuck. Now, the humanity might be a tad bit more affected, on the other hand.
Any kind of extremist movement would be quickly and quietly snuffed out by the govt, I'm guessing.Well, we're talking about bigotes, so if we were to frame this as some kind of message, we could introduce a group of fanatics whose intolerance would bring the world to the brink of disaster. What if someone in the government is already part of it?Any kind of extremist movement would be quickly and quietly snuffed out by the govt, I'm guessing.
