What part of it? The part with the dragon girl, the part about calling down thunder forcibly or the part of having nice, supportive classmates?
I think the weather control via the lightning, which I think is mostly justified as not the lightning changing the weather, but more Ruri is forcibly creating the environmental conditions for the lightning strike, which forces the Typhoon to happen early.
In practice, I don't think this works; I think more likely Ruri basically becomes incredibly electrically polarized and causes lightning to strike her/near her and that doesn't require the clouds to do anything.

Yeah, forcing down a lightning sounds realistic, redirecting a typhoon, which is an energy equivalent of a whole country's consumption for weeks, hardly so.

I like how you take other people's comments out of context and at the same time complain about understanding the text. Firstly, the fact that I call him an ally already means that I know who he is. My comment was only a joke about his vibe, not an attempt to suspect the character of anything. Secondly, Mangamoz didn't say he didn't know who he was. He just said that since he knows a lot about dragons, that means there are quite a few of them.
the thing is .... it is not possible to see if you are serious or joking without it having something to make it clear

Like emotes, a short "lol" or something, without anything and the way you wrote it makes it not appear like you were joking.
There also is absolutely NO CONTEXT to see that you are joking, your single line and the first post were the only context existing. Which nowhere looked like joking. Thats on you in this case. Next time simply put an emote or anything further there to make it clear its a joke, otherwise you cant blame others for assuming you dont understand what you read.

I understand what you're saying, but we literally had context. The dude made it clear that he was talking about knowledge in the context of the potential of other characters like Ruri, while I was just talking about the vibes the character gives me without trying to question his personality in any way. I even called him an ally, which already implied his confession in the last chapter. And even so, the person could simply ask to clarify our words if they seemed strange to him, instead of being so harshly rude.

Real question, is that even possible in reality? I assume not but I am curious
Jokes aside, not even close - out here in the real world, a decent sized typhoon/tropical cyclone is so far outside any kind of human scale that it's not funny. As in, a typical tropical cyclone will be releasing energy at a rate you can usefully measure in nuclear bombs per second - 5-20*10^13 Watts, or about 12-50 kilotons TNT equivalent per second. So one or two of the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki (15-20 kiloton yield) every second, or one Tsar Bomba (50GT yield) every couple of hours, constantly, for the week or so a typical tropical cyclone will exist for.

In short, you need tech that's effectively magical to directly influence large weather systems, or outright magic.

I also wonder when/if Ruri gets her wings and tail from the first cover art sometime soon or even at all. Would be funny because of her clothes and such stuff.

Honestly I did read your 2 comments a few times and I would have "asked" too if you didnt read the chapters before and all, because it was absolutely not clear from your comments and no context hinting of jokes.
If you know its a joke you can roughly see it, how it could be a joke ... but only roughly.

So while it was rather rude how it was answered, I cant fault him for coming to the conclusion that you didnt read or forgot the previous statement of the teacher. Never forget that we dont know you and that we, because of that, are not like you or your friends who can easy tell its a joke. (especially if it is written) Its something I needed to put attention too a few times too. Which is a reason I suggested emotes or something.

So my advice is: next time simply you putting an emote there or something and he maybe not be outright rude but just telling you normally that it was mentioned by the teacher already why he is here.

I wouldn't be surprised if you additionally read them after you read the dude's response to this and the discussion that arose. This kind of crap is very common on the Internet and I've seen a bunch of times where a bunch of people took over the distortion of someone else's comment by just one person. Simply because when you read it, you immediately begin to see things that way.

Whatever you think, rudeness always provokes other rudeness, simply starting a cycle of antagonism and hostility. I myself have often been rude to people because of a misunderstanding, and in most cases they answered me in kind, although the issue could have been resolved much faster and more peacefully if I had simply clarified someone else’s thought. But I will be consistent and thank you for your advice, assuming you have no bad intentions.

I dont have any bad intentions. I learned when the internet was still young to make stuff clear from the get go. Like if there is a big and fat "XD", it is clearly a joke and everyone who is rude gets ignored, because they are the problem. Thats why I advice doing things from the get go to make things clear, having a Discussion like us here is sadly indeed rare nowadays.

Regarding my response I will be honest and say: if he wouldnt have said anything I would have (even if not as rude), because I did read your comments first, but I made it a habit to first read further in case someone already said something and you answered.
Not a fan of dogpiling ... and not because I am bad at wrestling. XD

PS: As a person working in retail I dont expect people to have brains anymore and are on the assumptions that 80% of the humans are just dumb and 15% are trolls. So I hope you take my comments not in a negative way, but more as a bystander perspektive which is as objective as possible.

I have no problem clarifying, I'm not the best speaker and so I'm used to the fact that people may not understand my intentions. Or even deliberately distort them. I just don't like it when people are very easy to be rude and attack strangers without any "special" reason. But in recent years, my nerves have been too expensive for me, so I try not to develop this myself.

At such moments, I always remember the moment from the movie "A Few Good Men" with Jack Nicholson, where he angrily says (translated into my language) “fuckin' people.” :D.
