I guess this is what sells in Japan. Many times I think of how blessed we could be if manga was actually popular in american or european culture. Or maybe it's actually better for it to stay this way, this could be a long debate. Either way, i'm more than happy to just read what a different culture has to offer.

The MC isn't dense, he knows full well that she's into him and that she wants to do perverted things with him. Hell, he's even observant enough to notice the times when she's pushing her own boundaries and doesn't actually want to do the things she's saying. But just because he can clearly understand that she's making advances on him doesn't mean he's going to be receptive to those advances.
But that doesn't make him a wimp, coward, or overly pure, either. This man has, literally just the day before, been abandoned by his parents, nearly forced to join a criminal organization to cover said parents' debts, had that debt cleared by a classmate who essentially bought him like a piece of property, found out that he's forbidden from ever having contact with his parents again, and then found out he's going to be cohabiting with that classmate.
That is a lot of life-changing events for someone to process in a single day.
He's coming to terms with his new life, and trying to stall out the rushed, one-sided relationship that the FMC has thrust upon him long enough to let his own feelings develop so they can have an actual, emotionally healthy relationship and not just jump into sex.
I want to reiterate: He has only known this girl (in a capacity beyond "pretty classmate that he's never interacted with, and shares a crush on with every other male in the school") for, at most a day. That's pretty early to be taking baths together (or spending time naked together in any capacity) and to be sleeping in the same bed together.

The MC isn't the weird one here for wanting to take things slower, it's the girl that's trying to speedrun a relationship.

Normally I don't care about when people call MCs pussies or simps or cucks or whatever, but when I read this chapter I was immediately struck by how flagrantly she ignored his explicitly stated boundaries and so I went to the comments to see what people had to say about it, only to find everyone here denigrating the MC instead for having boundaries in the first place. It just kind of pissed me off.

well.. either they scream frantically, or they bang right after that which mean its become a hentai. (yes, i know non hentai actually do sex too frequently)
theres just no in-between. LMAO

also, if its not a hentai but they actually went the other way (the male lead actually enjoys the view or smthng), the story will lose out its ideas fast usually, and have to introduce even more annoying stuff like love rival or something early... or get axed (due to repetition or lack of anticipation anymore).
