Yeah, yeah. We get it: this is a work of fantasy! MCs being kind to show that they're good people, even to the worst people out there, etcetera, etcetera...

In the real world, they'd leave them to become that creature's next pile of feces, so that their outside would finally resemble their inside.

segrit aside which i can understand without seeing the spoiler... this kind of mc doesn't have one good thing to the story. it's just so very unnatural that there is no way this person can exist without plot armor. it's very bad choice to show he never have capability to learn. not only he can't forgive the right way, he is just that dumb. it's not kindness at all.

this kind of writing really show the writer's limit in his writing skill. add that he really let the mc to not get rewarded by that past battle. he is still poor and doesn't get fame. i don't get it. the writer's really didn't think about this?

I don't get why people are so upset that Dion is planning to save this bunch. There's quite a large gulf between "being a good person" and "deserving a messy death". He probably has at least a little bit of lingering attachment as well, from when they edventured together, even if the overall experience was very bitter for him.

That aside though this really feels too similar to the arc we just finished and I am not psyched about it. If they get into another fight that lasts half as long as the last one I don't think I'll make it.

Minor aside, but I hate when people respond to questions with variations of "You're the leader; I'll follow your orders". Okay that's all well and good but I wasn't asking you to give orders I was asking for your opinion.

I usually hate how in these kind of stories the enemy is allegedly a high ranker but still incompetent af so I was about to say "hey at least they can somehow hold their own" but no, he aka Segrit is too retarded to be real. Kinda was hoping for an author who breaks the mold.

Christ we just got out of an endless dungeon boss fight designed to show off the MC is super cool now to his lame former party, took like half the fucking manga to resolve it, finally moved on and now it's literally the exact same situation with no downtime or story progress. I guess the author is totally out of ideas and just wants to draw fight scenes until he can think of something.

The problem with these cookie cutter stories is that there's hardly any nuance in it. These characters are so one dimensional and they hardly ever grow or learn naturally. There's power fantasy and then there's whatever the hell this stuff is. Thanks for the chapter!!!

To remind people now why the anagonist is free to move around:
They are being investigated by the guild for a much bigger crime by the spy in the group. So they have to be free to find what they need.
honestly, that doesn’t make a damn lick of sense. They literally tried to murder Dion, just put them to death and be done with it.

Dion's got some good mornings. Cute how Yuki meant to sneak back out of his bed when he woke up but overslept and missed her chance. And now Dion's gotta pull Segrit's ass out of the fire yet again; ahh the troubles of having strong moral fiber.

Hmm... I don't think Dion likes to help the dude either... but it is part of his character to not ignore people in need, he didn't forgive the dipshit, he just... is focusing on the satisfaction of his own decisions.

Yeah, it may seem like he is just being a cuck, but... I think Dion has already shown he has a little more depth than that.

But on the topic of the girls.... he should be going deep... in them, but I can wait.

In like chapter 2, we learned that people who have committed crimes can’t be adventurers. Segrit and Cindy getting off scot free (I guess Segrit got one punch in the face) just doesn’t make any kind of sense.

I don't know, this manga is actually willing to show tits and ass. Maybe it will be different.
They had their chance to be different in the first few pages of this chapter.
Naur, he ain't different, he's the same "Eternally 13" as 85% of harem anime protags.
The manga being willing to show tits and ass just makes the insult even bigger.

Being a good person to repeatedly save the life of people who attempted to kill you and only failed due to your random good luck?
It's like watching a friend of yours repeatedly help out his toxic ex girlfriend who treated him like shit and cheated on him before they finally broke up, and she was the one who broke up with him when he has two other good girls wanting to date him.
It's extremely irritating to watch even if it has nothing to do with you.

Their opinion is that they trust his decision. And he never asked them anything, he was just deep in his own feelings when they spoke up to snap him out of it. And didn't Yuki say almost immediately after that "Shouldn't it be fine to leave them be?" And that got pretty much ignored. So even if he did ask, which he didn't, what point would it make if he ultimately don't listen and does what he wants?
I don't get why you hate something that didn't even happen.
