I just hope the girl who actually apologized (Criola I believe was her name?) doesn't die unlike the rest. Hell, I'm surprised she didn't jump ship or follow Yuki, though likely she has some kind of bystander guilt for not trying to stop their dipshit.

I don't get why people are so upset that Dion is planning to save this bunch. There's quite a large gulf between "being a good person" and "deserving a messy death". He probably has at least a little bit of lingering attachment as well, from when they edventured together, even if the overall experience was very bitter for him.

That aside though this really feels too similar to the arc we just finished and I am not psyched about it. If they get into another fight that lasts half as long as the last one I don't think I'll make it.

In like chapter 2, we learned that people who have committed crimes can’t be adventurers. Segrit and Cindy getting off scot free (I guess Segrit got one punch in the face) just doesn’t make any kind of sense.

Mc never press any charges against them (nor anyone else did either for what it matter), so they didn't get punished or anything, even if the guild master was aware, mc never did anything to pursue a punishment

Of course later they get to kill Segrit after he turn into a monster, but is a long way off still

It's like watching a friend of yours repeatedly help out his toxic ex girlfriend who treated him like shit and cheated on him before they finally broke up, and she was the one who broke up with him when he has two other good girls wanting to date him.
It's extremely irritating to watch even if it has nothing to do with you.

Their opinion is that they trust his decision. And he never asked them anything, he was just deep in his own feelings when they spoke up to snap him out of it. And didn't Yuki say almost immediately after that "Shouldn't it be fine to leave them be?" And that got pretty much ignored. So even if he did ask, which he didn't, what point would it make if he ultimately don't listen and does what he wants?
I don't get why you hate something that didn't even happen.

I would also be frustrated watching a friend repeatedly help a toxic ex, but if the nature of the help was to keep them from dying an awful death (something which fortunately doesn't often come up in most people's daily lives), that changes the situation entirely and makes it very understandable to me. He's not helping them get a promotion or something; he's just trying to keep his former friends from being torn to shreds by some monster. I can't look you dead in the eyes and tell you that I would definitely have the moral fortitude to do something like that, but I like to think I would at least try. It strikes me as an admirable quality of his not to let the often cruel nature of the world drag him down to its level.

At that point I wasn't talking about his decision to watch over his old party members, but rather the conversation he had with his own party in the inn on pages 7-8. By all rights, it should. I've tried before on another title where it was obvious MC had more than one girl vying for their attention (I believe it was The Useless Skill [Auto Mode] has been Awakened), but the Staff refused to change it. Unless it says that it has a harem tag on one of the sites where the manga is sold in Japan, the staff probably won't correct it. At least, until there's an explicit sex scene with more than one girl.
