It's not confirmed, but Yoshida's dad was almost certainly the human. Yoshida still writes letters back to her home in the elven forest to her mother. Her dad is probably dead (maybe from old age, assuming that elves have much longer life spans in this manga). At the end of the first volume, she's sad about breaking the glasses that her father gave her, so she may see it as a memento from him. Also, on this page, she goes over her thoughts, and one of the thoughts implies that her father is dead.
