Hmm.. I guess that skill works like an aura that protects the outer layer or coating user in shield that nullifies fire/heat.

Still kinda weird that he could walk in lava like it's water. I remember lava is 3 times denser than water.

So, he should be walking really slow and will have hard times to pull out his leg. Kinda like when you stuck in a mud.

Even assuming that he's resistant to all types of harmful heat, he would still suffocate. There are lots of gasses dissolved in magma, and they get released when it surfaces. Have fun trying to breathe 'air' composed entirely of CO2 and sulphuric gas...
