It's honestly lacking tension in my opinion 😵

i don't think you know how hydras work. the only way to defeat a hydra is to cut off all it's heads lest it infinitely regenerates. basically their body is just a mode of transport for them and serves no actual purpose to their survival. and that's not even to mention just how ridiculously sturdy their bodies are even compared to dragons.

Why are you bringing generic monster lore into this?
The manga already stated, what is needed to kill the hydra:
Destroy the nucleus.

I just skimmed through one year worth of chapters and I got that point…
