Samurai armor does not allow for female curves. Not does proper full european armor. The effective and practical armors also aren't particularly impressive to look at.

Between that and Fantasy/Bikini armor...... And given the horni Demographic most of that stuff is aimed at... No contest...

Was going to say it could be a rear luggage rack, as seen on some even live action stuff, but even the wheels are different sizes to show the front and back, plus I think there's a bit of the trailer hitch the horses are usually mounted to.

Yea. Usually you’d see only bits of it like the kote (armguard), but drawing a full set of ō-yoroi armor is a huge pain in the ass. It’s like having to draw a very fancy fully-engraved plate armor (with ALL the ornaments) in terms of how much of a pain it is to draw all the time in full shot.

Closest i’ve got is Argate Online (mc has all except chestplate and helmet) and Kenja no Deshi (one of the side character actually goes around in full ō-yoroi armor).
