Is it? They do like each other, whereas in How do we relationship, the connection wasn’t really there (you know, until the end). The relationship in How was a situationship that they tried to advance their relationship despite not wanting to, eventually leading to them going back to being friends, whereas this is more like a situationship that they do want advance their relationship, but they don’t know how to with Japan’s social norms. So like advancing and committing to a relationship through conventional means, e.g. marriage and kids, which is not directly compatible with their relationship.
