@Aleph0 When I recently wanted to buy mattress I found out pillows and mattresses could be up to ten times price difference from each others because of "silver particles" or "natural sawdust". And I am not even touching real cheap stuff, functionally they were the same. People can put a lot of money into slightly better sleep.
