@That-Guy I never experienced a scavenger race (thats what it is called when you get a card with a thing to locate, right?), though I kinda want to try it some day. Particularly the mid-boss that is jumping after a piece of bread sounds fun.
I don't quite think its very low-effort to host though, aren't the items you are to find supposed to be stuff like "go to store X and retrieve Y" and they have to secure partnerships with nearby stores? At least I think I remember reading something where they did.

@feha
Our scavenger race wasn't something as grand as that. (That idea actually sounds fun as hell.)
They just asked for things students would be most likely to have on hand. (Like handkerchiefs, socks, hair, people, etc.) Hence why I said my school gave little to no-effort in that segment. And yeah the bread jumping race is fun. I actually signed up for that and it was harder to pull off than I expected.

@breizh It is somewhat surprising that they finished in first. But I don't think it's that improbable. Let's think about it, how long would you really be standing there before noticing the other side of the paper? I'd think that at the longest it'd be around 15-30 seconds, which is already probably longer than anyone would actually take. Then he runs over to the sidelines, which are extremely nearby-- maybe another 15 seconds. As for the conversation itself, in the raws it consists of roughly 120 syllables. According to wordcounter.net, the average person speaks at 4 to 5 syllables per second. If we take the slower end of that, that's 30 seconds. Add in a few gaps for alternating speakers and that brief moment of silence, I'd add another 10 seconds. So that's about 85 seconds in total. It is a fair amount of time, but consider that everyone else has to actively look for their items in the same time period. And those items are probably much further from the track than effectively adjacent to it. Then add to that the fact that most of the items are actually items that have to be carried over, much like speaker guy, slowing the person down. Meanwhile, our two main characters here are just freely running at full speed. The real miracle is that speaker guy was in first place until they caught up, but he probably took one of the ones being used for the announcements or something.

Anyway, I have no idea why I wrote something this long as a response, sorry. All I wanted to do was say that I believed it was possible...

Edit: added a sentence.

Thank you, student council! For the lifeline! That was great haha XDD We got some good stuff from this chapter (then again don't we always), that hand holding looked natural even though he wasn't being natural (what am I saying). Ugh I'm gonna miss this manga when it ends.

Dat face in the "Owarida" moment. And the "this is my life now" panel.
Too good.
