It doesn't look like he has his priorities in romantic relationships straight aside from 'doing it with protection', and the way his FWB relationship started with bookworm was quite startling, to be honest, but I'd drop all formalities and ditch the fuck out of there if I was in his position at that moment. She clearly has some issues that needs to be worked out and sex is not only a temporary measure to relieve those symptoms, but it's definitely not the sort of solution one should resort to.
