I'm kinda confused what the deal with his right arm is, here. It looks like it's completely torn off / destroyed below the elbow in a few shots in the previous chapter, but then a few panels later he's on the ground + his arm is fine, and he just complains about his legs instead. Was his arm not blown off, and it was just a visual of a skill he was using? Or if it regenerated, why can't he regenerate his other parts on his own, why do they need to go to Obaba to fix it? If it's a mana issue, that should be handled now that he's fat again, and exhausted/overworked legs seems like it should pale in comparison to regrowing an arm.

The manga does a terrible job at showing this compared to the light novel which is understandable probably due to how rushed this fight is in the manga. The gist of it is with the demon lord skill of rapid regeneration he can heal whole arms and such, this is why he suddenly also becomes thin due to the energy expending by healing all this. His legs can't withstand the super fast movements and such from using all the speed boosting skills to keep up with the monster, it's why the regen skill was invoked first as it allows his legs to constantly heal as it breaks and tears from his rapid movements. The reason why he needs actual healing at the shop is cause all this breaking and healing causes his muscles and bones to set wrong after the fight (think why we need a splint or cast for healing broken bones) and so if not treated he be effectively unable to use his legs and arms right.

This manga is great that unlike in the others where the protag loses a bunch of weight he has to regain it to sustain himself, kinda like that one super from MHA.

I honestly respect the manga for sticking to the Gluttony thing and having him regain that weight rather than just being slim now. I can't think of any other manga that has had the guts to do that.

Gluttony is a passive skill that boost HP and VIT increase when leveling up, it also gave him lower initial STR -30% and AGI -50%' values than average. Then increased appetite. Basically dieting and exercise to change his weight and appearance won't work even after he learns to how control and reduce his appetite in a later chapter because its basically a curse for unique skill holders. The thinning always happens after using his DunEx skills which is separate from his gluttony skill.

Yeah as vesper said gluttony is his own skill. All the other battle skills he used is from manual activation using is knowledge from the game and so he doesn't actually have any of them in his limited skill slots. It allows him to use super powerful skills but the blowback is immense cause he physically can't handle the force the output. The thinning is just from the sheer physical energy expenditure during the fight from using those manually activated skills.

There will be but nothing for now, he can't keep his thin form because the more weight he loses more hungry and easy to get fat he gets until he aquires debuff resistant skills and equips he can't lose weight.
Since manga is different than the novels, it's possible that we will see him starting to lose weight after he gets the skill Flexible Aura.

I guess the fat helps him compensate to use the advanced skills. Its cool there's a significance to the story that he needs to be fat
