That single chapter where he is thin in all pages. Prelude to the peak arc.

I guess this manga will last 60-70 more chapters.

Basically the game corrected the harem route and supplied players to ... split the harem. Tsukushima got that new year 1-A girl & violent 1-B Kouki Suo, Butao got Tenma Akira "AMA-chan" & Kuga Kotone, Lisa Nitta got Satsuki Omiya, oh yeah yuri.

This is pretty bad. It's well executed, good drawings overall, but the plot isn't that great. Good drawings and execution can't carry a manga alone.

There are three types of character :

-girls looking pitiful before mc and asking for help (yes the sister is also in that category, looking pitiful sometimes and still needing his carry) ;
-hateful characters, aka ennemies (only males don't ask me why)
-and npcs, characters that have no personality like his parents or female ennemies (they get 3 pannels when they appear and that's it).

Then there is the game male playable character and his party that are pushover tier, pity relief just like girls around mc.

Taking into account that mc is trying to cower before people and all "to keep the main game storyline going", because he is afraid of the consequeces of altering said storyline (him playing coward doesn't feel good for obvious reasons), there is nothing great to keep reading honestly.
All these points listed above aren't bad, but the way they're introduced is. Pity relief, anger inducing ennemies, frustrating situations that could and should be avoided if you want to have a good time reading. Good bait, not recommended.
They copied so WELL from SAO. In fact look at the plot.

They sell unlike the wholesome manga about survival.

Sad, but what's free is free.

Harem = no depth

Character growth is dead as soon as you see [HAREM
Although most "harem" mangas don't even have a harem developed. In most cases you just have the MC with some girls flocking around them and the MC is either too indifferent/reluctant/shy /dumb (MC thinks they just like him as a friend because he was a virgin an thus has no idea about human interaction) /indecisive ... to start something with either of them till the end. At the moment it seems like this story will be this kind of "harem" manga.

At this stage in WN the MC family will become a New Noble, given Kano's business acumen, aggressiveness & mc harem girls. I think the Narumi Family will be the trigger for the COLORS betrayal in this timeline, because Kano is a natural born Samurai. Ofc MC will hide again as a rich fat boy, another piggy duke, lol. Gaining hate from the class as expected of his character. This might make Kano start as a 1-A student based on achievements alone, on par with a saint.

I want more chapters and I guess I don't believe when people say there is no progress
honestly, if there isn't much progress story-wise, so long as the content itself is good enough, it's all good.

I don't also need the TL delayed pent-up load. Either explode your load right now or, rather, other TL groups try to cum-rain their load on us.

I want chapters that is it.

One of these days, I'm truly going to commit and learn Japanese -_-
Better not learn JP, let the AI learn JP and you proofread it.

The advantage of the manga is they adapt the battle scenes very well ( with improvisions, of course ). LN has the details, but the fighting in manga ... PEAK.

After this ... PEAK battle again!

However, it is better not to read the text ... because the dialogue of mc is so W.I.M.P. to the capital S.I.M.P.

Well ... if it is not discontinued.

One major flaw of this story is the relationship between the MC and his fiance which is stagnating. I know that many people hate her because of abandoning the MC at the beginning. I actually think that this was the intention of the original mob Butao. Looking at his relationship with his family and how he behaved at school it feels like he was self-sacrificing so that his love could live a happy life (maybe he thought he was no good because of his skill). In the talk with his family we learned that he entered the school to protect one person which is probably his fiance. The MC and Butao seem to share their feelings somehow, so he is not interested in other girls. Deep inside he only loves her. But still he's so focused on maintaining the original story that he's willing to get NTRed by the game MC thus ignoring the feeling of Butao.
The story between MC isn't progressing (in my opinion it was the driving force for original mob's actions) for an eternity. He has feelings for her bit doesn't act, she gets glimpses of his change but keeps sticking to the game MC, but we have the usual lack of communication (it really feels like rental girlfriend; one step forward, two steps backward). They just lead separate lives (which can best be seen when they walk to school). The few occasions when they talk don't progress their story but are just depressing at this space.
The real problem with Kaoru is that she's a main heroine who doesn't support the main character she has the spectator role and looking at the situation from the NPC perspective maybe if Risa was the main heroine the readers would not bother with her.
The whole MC and Butao being separated entities are not set on stone sometimes he feels like he's merging with Butao, he already assimilated all of OG Butao behaviors to the point that his family doesn't even notice something is off about him.
I actually think that this was the intention of the original mob Butao.
Original Butao was an asshole.
He has a heart of gold when it comes to protecting his family, but that's it, he could not control his feelings and was extremely jealous and toxic in the middle school he even slandered her and in the game he also spread bad rumors about her and made dirty jokes like she was Yuuma's slut with the added bonus of sexual harassment.
The marriage contract was a device to keep her interacting with the MC despite all the crap he did towards her.
There's no self-sacrificing. (his actions towards her contradicts it like forcing her to wake him up and go to school together).
MC is aware of all the mess Butao did towards her in middle school, so it's kinda hard for him to change that perspective when she acts annoyed towards him, specially when the MC is aware that all the times she approaches him to talk she has second intentions.
The problem is that - even though it's understandable to some extent that he acts like does - if the story continues like this it's just a boring read. He lived a pathetic life in his old world and after being isekaied he ... still lives a pathetic life.
Don't get me wrong, the series has a lot of potential and it's a good thing that he doesn't replace the game MC immediately (even though he's already stronger than he and his entire party) but (in my opinion) the development is just too slow (especially his relationship with his fiance).
If he uses his OP skills and knowledge just to nullify the other players tries to change the story so that his character can live a lonely life in misery just because he's an NPC it becomes boring and depressing at some point.
He doesn't lead a pathetic life, there's plenty of material with him lunching together with Risa and Satsuki, sometimes he does lunch with Kuga and often goes into dungeon dives with Tenma/Kuga.
Currently, he has three party, his family, EEE (Risa, Satsuki and his sister), and Tenma's.
About development, Kaoru is going to find out the truth by herself and confront him probably after the author decides to "merge MC with butao" or go with "separate entities".

I AM actually wondering if Kaoru is actually the heroine or she is actually a separate entity with her own side story. I notice the author went to "perspective checks", which will make it stretch till the fans lost interest to buy this work.

Even Kuga got her perspective check, and she is a character just introduced out of the blue.

Author will go with separate entities, for sure. He has this devotion to not breaking the plot when he should admit that he is not actually following.

Self insert of ladies chasing tubby.
