If the new character does anything to make things worse for the mother I'm going to drop this to prevent myself from experiencing misery overload.

But they don't need to add this much sh*t...

We already have too much... we readers were here to help them wash it off...
Tell that to the universe, any story is just a glimpse into the understanding an artist has on life and this artist clearly has had some compounding B.S. happen in life that not many can empathize with.

The problem with us readers helping, is that we may point in the wrong direction, or someone else may end up serving as a distraction that makes the person miss the small details after helping them through the big ones.

We can't claim to know what the artists actually been through. But if you keep reading with an open mind you might get a deeper view into their soul and subsequently so many others'. Thats the beauty of storytelling and why its persisted throughout human history

Maybe, but at the same time, there needs to be limits. Art is a 2 way street... adding too much can turn a touching story into a bogged down mess.

I concur. This story can easily fall right down the path of messy and convoluted for the sake of racking up "sad points". I'm curious to see where all of this will go. I hope it doesn't go that way.
Oh, look. Chrom is in the comments. Hilarious

Honestly, if this were a six chapter series, this was a great way to end it. Everything wrapped up nicely at the end, and both characters resolved themselves. There really isn't a need to go beyond that, but no; there ABSOLUTELY needs to be a shady character thrown in to the mix. This new character better be good.
holy efing hell who are you to DECIDE were an story bloody fucking ends? the entitlment to even write this xomment complaining for nothing!

UNLESS you actually psycho analyze the author and HAVE access to their thoughts and an SOLID analysis of their character, what you wrote is BULLSHIT!

The idea that you can ACTUALLY see though an author character by the story they wrote is sooo arrogant, given the BILLIONS of reasons the author can came up with way an part of the story is that way makes it an arrogant endeavor

I bet Sumire knows who Shiika really is (unlike Kazuma's mom) and shames her for her father's crimes. She probably loves Kazuma's mom too as a mother figure, and is mad at Shiika for hiding her real identity on purpose in order to "take advantage" of her kindness. In short, it's "justified" jealousy that drives her bullying.
She most likely threatened her with revealing her identity, and that triggered Shiika into slamming Sumire against the table.

True, but it could also mean the messaging isn't for you in totality. Not to say you can't enjoy it, but maybe this is a darker story for those that have lived a darker existence than you have

I think it's arrogant and B.S. of you to tell me anything in regards to how I enjoy a story.

Maybe you aren't artsy enough in your own life? Maybe you haven't read enough? Maybe you're always meant to be a viewer and never someone who tries to gleen beyond the art on a panel?

Regardless, I'm gonna keep sharing my perspective and continue to not listen to dismissive drivel such as this. Good luck in life

That last person definitely looks like Shiika's relative. I put my bet on mom.

I have a feeling something worse is about to happen to thag girl. probably shiika bullied her back.

I think something similar that happened to his sister will happen to shiika maybe.

Still a great story of psychology and emotions. love it so far.
