To be fair, DeepL can save a lot of time for translators. Instead of writing the whole thing yourself, you just need to check if DeepL did it right and fix the parts it butchered, which is much faster. No thanks, man.
He [killed] a pedoPedo? I thought his criminal act was killing the rapist? Wha- man, its been so long im starting to forget
Clown ass puristNo thanks, man.
Agreed. But it seems obvious the translator is fluent in chinese which is why he opted for the double, as noted in the last page of this chapter. To be fair, DeepL can save a lot of time for translators. The problem is, if you're going to use DeepL anyway, just translate directly from the original language. Even if you can't verify the accuracy because you don't understand Japanese, you can still guess how well it did from the Chinese translation. Unless you don't understand Chinese either, in which case I agree: no thanks, man.
Thanks for the hard work boss, imo the translation flows well. No reason not to use ML for rote tasks like these with some human QCmy fault man i speak but not read natively
Joke?Idk how deranged you have to be to say this as if it was a funny joke, either seek help or get locked up
It couldve been soo good, the first chapters were peak but the author got kinda lostAt first I thought this would be the peak manga... looks at how things had developed into
This excuse is only valid if the translator can’t handle the original language.Agreed. But it seems obvious the translator is fluent in chinese which is why he opted for the double, as noted in the last page of this chapter.
I'm talking about his colleagues they might not know the specifics of the case.Pretty sure he did? It was a mitigating factor in his sentencing (along with his young age) which is why he got out fairly quickly. He just doesn't open up about the full sequence of events because he feels its his fault that his sister died and that he could have done something more.
The thing is, what could he have done if his sister didn't say anything to him, or anyone for that matter and for obvious reasons?? MC needs deep therapy if he wants to get rid of that guilt of his, he did nothing wrongPretty sure he did? And I get that but it still feels a little contrived. Feel guilty about your sister dying sure don't feel guilty for killing the guy that did it tho and don't feel like a murderer because of it
They're both traumatised and mentally ill, dude...Honestly I don't know why it ended up like this. There wasn't a reason for those two to run away. He could've just brought her back to his mom and things would be, like... at least going in a good direction.
