Yeh the anime at least worked to get me interested but was such a downplay on the actual story.
Not to mention how they made Menel look unnecessarily like a trap, when he wasnt feminine at all in the manga.

I mean, Menel's attitude is totally that of a biker gang dude, but I can't get over how he goes around in high heels and frilly underwear all the time. Like, is that an elf thing? Why has NO ONE TOLD HIM that this isn't how macho guys dress in human territory?
