"Hug" is a name for the books. There are a lot of names in this series that are a little weird.

Friendly fire is acceptable if no one catches on fire.

A long time preparing, and when things start moving, they start to move fast.

It is a very slow-paced story, although I find this particular arc to drag on more than in the novel. Even so, there are going to be arcs that drag on, with lots of just talking or interacting with her companions, whether human or not.

In terms of length this arc is quite long and very complicated even in the light novel.

Though it's pretty likely this adaptation is also feeling slower BC it's been quite a while since we've had a even half way relaxing chapter.
