These guys seem to be men of honor. They take it upon themselves to return the favor by escorting her safely back to town, also as seemingly responsible adults they will not leave a vulnerable little child to travel through a dangerous forest by herself, especially not while she's being targeted for kidnapping.

The Adandara panther (name pending) is keeping an eye out for her in a good way, I'm sure it killed some of the ogres to lessen the threat to Ivy. It's a little sad it has to stay out of human sight while Ivy is with adventurers, and it also can't follow her back to town. Maybe when she's officially tamed it, it could openly come along with her?
