I actually like this premise (mature protagonist; wants to retire and lay low). It just depends where it goes from here. I need some more chapters to decide for myself if it's good, or mediocre.

It's kinda weird. He has a knee injury but it doesn't seem to affect him at all. No limp, no walking cane/staff (he's a wizard, he could pull off using a staff), he can fight without difficulty.

Everything makes sense only if he faked the arrow injury and either conspired with the healer or deceived her, all just to take a vacation.

@Fluffums Don't try to look for consistence in a wish fulfillment fantasy manga. He couldn't have possibly walked all the way there with a knee injury. All he felt was "Damn, it tickles..."
