They're not it's been 3 years since WN updated and like more than a year since a volume has been released. Site isn't working but I don't think the manga has updated for a long time. The translations here were released 5 months ago but the update in JP was actually quite older and no update even now

Was the author under threat to be axed with every chapter ? Is that why everything is so rushed ? So over the top for no reason ? What the hell ? There's a good story in there somewhere, but it's stuck under so much bad stuff it's hard to ignore.

Likely it is, niconico manga have the manga as completed with this chapter as the last one, and chapter is actually like 2 year old, on top the publisher site Yomonga doesn't have this serie listed anymore, not even in the list of completed ones, so they likely yetted it so hard they erased it from existance (likely because they revamped the whole site, so they didn't bother adding this in lol)

A real pity, it was a unique isekai and when it was made it was even more special.
It was very well drawn and the story wasn't bad.
I have no idea how a work like this could be cancelled.

EDIT:
To make things worse, I checked and the raw web novel on ncode stopped in 2020, around when the manga came out, I couldn't find a link to the paper novel, usually this works have one adaptation for that too but couldn't find one, is possible it was published as manga to promote the novel but for some reason the novel never happened, it was 2020 so is possible that it was covid fault, I forgot about it when writing the post originally but it could be the cause.
Sadly the author abandoned the raw WN too so the story is in a super incomplete state, rarely happens.
I'ts been 5 years, I think we can say the author shitted on all readers because this thing wasn't making money, not even felt like closing it.
