@Hoezell You're right, his status was lowered due to a curse and Hibiki was only able to remove part of the curse, raising Claude's status a lot but not fully, since he doesn't have a high enough skill lv to fully break it.

The title of this manga is sooo misleading. His OP powers don't come from being an inspector but from the God's Eye ability. Like I get that it's a title to stand out from the crowd but still, it could have been called 'God's Eye is more powerful than the Hero even without combat abilities' or something like that.

Impressive chapter. It felt less bullshit then a lot of other isekai, the hero is actually struggling and instead of being so op he blows away the problem in an instant god has to step in to protect him. This loss makes that wolf guy stronger and it’s not because his level got higher or something arbitrary like that. There’s an actual sense of progression.
