I love subversions of the humans vs demon plot lines. This one where the demon lord is protecting the hero has been so fun.

Her story was a fantastic addition to the storyline, adds in dynamics and context to the demon side showing that that first party meant to wipe out the hero was not the consensus of the entirety of the demon side.

I've always been a bit confused because I thought Seika could appraise himself and knew he was the demon lord, but after looking at the past chapters mentioned it seems that others discovered who he was, but he's still oblivious to it.

Also, after reading chapter 30 again, I'm wondering if the king of the empire isn't also of mixed race, which might explain why Fiona is also an oracle. It's interesting because demons and humans all seem to be working together in the background.

The MC is the demon lord but he doesn’t know that. He thinks he was born from his noble parents but it was established in the second chapter, he was adopted. This is why he’s contradicting the demon girl even though she’s referring to him. When the demon’s attacked the school, it was confirmed he was in fact the demon lord. It’s a type of dramatic irony that as the audience, we know the truth but the characters don’t.

well he's from noble blood, he's adopted by his uncle, they mentioned that some time ago too, and they also know he's mixed blood as the mom appeared to entrust them with Seika and they noticed she was a demon.

funny thing Seika noticed that the oracle knows that he's traveling with the hero, sadly he doesn't noticed that she also noticed he's the demon lord, she has her plan but probably told him that so he would accept her idea, got rejected though, but at the same time also Seika shown that he doesn't have anything against the demon and is also taking care of the hero, not as a weapon, but as a person.

I get the impression she does know he is the demon lord. She's not arguing with him about it because that wouldn't help her cause. Instead she told him about the circumstances of his birth, what the situation is like on the demon side so he has some warning, and that she trusts him to be a good person.

This way he can work his way to the truth in a manner he will actually accept. Even if he doesn't, she isn't worried about it for now since he's basically following the plan she laid out already.

It was so briefly mentioned and never returned to that I'm not surprised other people don't remember. He's definitely Meroza's child, wherever she ended up.
