While doing so they arrive to downtown square where everybody can see them. Then the masters, the childhood friend and thief cat see them together and assume they're on a date or something like that and join the free for all

I can see where that princess's prediction of having massive problems with women in the future would stem. Stepping on the toes of the hero lineage/faction would do that and likely culminate in some kind of slugfest brawl.

Cross seems to be about to get his first male teacher. His first teacher without (romantic) ulterior motives too. But I wonder how the strongest "man" in the kingdom compares to the strongest women?

If this one master isn't getting results then a change in strategy is not a bad choice and he also has unique perspective of being trained by 3 very different s-rank individuals as well. His input will be invaluable, also he is the Mc so his input will be the catalyst

If I were to make a wild guess, I'd say that they are going to make a test about what training methode is better : the harsh solo training of the Hero's bloodline or the special training Cross received where he is being taken care of very specifically.

This would lead to a two months training arc on each side with a duel between Cross and Elysia to determine which way is better. That would make a fight against Elysia to "save" her, with Elysia being stronger but not being able to finish Cross because she has feelings for him but awakening her bloodline powers. Father-in-law would acknowledge Cross's strength and would let Elysia train with him under the tutelage of the three/four masters, to their own despair.

Probably not happening, but it could be fun.

It really would be cool if Cross could get a teacher without ulterior motives for once...wait, he would want him to end with his daughter - scratch that, Cross cannot stop getting taught by people who want to be in a deeper relationship with him (sure, father-in-law isn't the same as romantic/sexual partner, but compared to acquaintances or just teacher-student it is very much deeper).

Also, he compares to the masters the way the thief does, just offensively instead of purely defensively or utility-wise. So he should be able to properly go toe-to-toe with them, if maybe not at 3 at once necessarily.

it is interesting that the Hero's Lineage is still cautious of the Demon God. but the current Demon Lord is a half-baked domesticated one. at this point, the biggest threat to humankind are humans too. if an S-rank adventurer suddenly decided to go be a villain, i think only fellow S-rankers can fight them because as we've seen, A-ranks are peanuts compared to them. so far, we have 6 S-ranks introduced.

Yeah, of course he wouldn't do it without an ulterior motive. But at least he wouldn't groom Cross for himself, but for his daughter. Training wouldn't be an occasion to get touchy, but he might try to create "lucky moments" for Cross to enter the wrong bath and stuff.

I also expect him to be able to hold his own in a 1 on 1 against Cross' other teachers. But I doubt it is enough when the three monsters cooperate properly.
