Just read this from chapter one and yeah this story feels really short. It all feels designed to be a five issue mini series (and yes I do mean five). All the main pieces just fall into place so fast and now here they all are coming to a head. It kinda just feels like everything is just a set piece for the author to write the worst guy being a terrible human being and getting beat, but then why even have the main character keep both personalities? Why is the reincarnator there at all? We skipped over them actually using their knowledge and since the main story has started they've just been bewildered and full of useless outdated (and now kinda accidentally racist) information. They can't affect the real world otherwise. It'd be cool if they could interfere with the data hack, but nope.
It just feels like this premise is underutilized. I'd have had the MC be way more into the world building and story telling of the game, and they crafted this really intricate detailed game where nothing is all black and white. But before they can finish it they die of overworking. Suddenly they find themselves coinhabiting the body of this main character. Skip all the "creator" super evil worst guy BS. Start from the MC and other personality working hard to get the family to love them despite the setting and make the whole thing about building a happier life and avoiding the tragic end. Also like, show it to us. It sucks that all that was skipped over. The brother and father went from the absolute worst and wishing the youngest son was dead to apparently being a loving family and it was ALL OFF SCREEN?? WTF? When the story starts they're just evil again. There's such an interesting idea there of building those bonds and having deal with the conflict of how dark attribute is viewed when the father and brother DON'T just unilaterally hate the guy. Maybe they didn't want to send him away and are forced to by the church. Maybe the entire family rebels. Maybe the plot BECOMES about changing the world with the MCs omniscient knowledge to create coexistence. Or something. What we got just feels kinda boring compared to what it could be. Or at least really rushed. This is chapter 12. It feels like the entire thing can be over with an epilogue in chapter 15 and I barely know these characters or this world.
