thats the one thing about this story that bugs me....like are we just letting that mind washing hero go free and what about Toifa memories??? like wasnt that the point of coming here.... it's sad for to lose her hometown memories just for a plot device..... and not get them back>

I’m beginning to suspect the sudden fall in comprehension of the plot might have something to do with the translation, then again I’m not entirely sure the plot is the point, rather the introduction of new story elements to keep the ball rolling is the actual focus.

Not that I mind, none of the characters introduced are outright annoying yet and I suspect sooner or later shayuu’s gonna have a character shift or mc is gonna have to shake things up himself, he knows they can’t keep this up forever and is probably hoping for shayuu to grow up and get bored of this eventually, until then he can’t outright abandon them so he’s gonna put up with it for the foreseeable future, now all I need is a chapter where the elf in the party has to get into a freakiness competition for plot reasons and her opponent is a Druid/bard, their battle will be legendary
