Honestly I think it's good that this is a one-shot. Not to say that this isn't worth a series this was a very good story, but I think reading a whole harem manga with many "seduction" scenes whilst the MC was stuck on who to choose would've been pretty tiring. Of course each person has their own taste and that's cool but for me I'm not sure I would be able to read a suggestive harem manga just to get this nice ending.
Though I 100% want to see a continuation about the her and the younger brother since they're a great pairing. Especially the younger brother in my opinion since it's pretty rare to see a young a character who's also confident and straightforward and doesn't get flustered at the tiniest thing.
Yea I think the continuation that people are talking isn’t the beginning with her trying to seduce the original ML but the other one you’re talking about. Continuation where the Fml and Lil bro get together and slowly develop a strong romantic relationship

Also whenever I see some hentai artist do art for a series or create their own manga they usually don’t land but this time around this was really nice! Recent one with Ekakibit feels really rushed compared to the novel.

This was good & the art is great although finding out it was done by a hentai artist kinda explains it. I can see this branch off & they could do the other losing heroines POVs. I recall reading a oneshot that (the name of it eludes me) they showed the 2 losing heroines go out & do fun stuff while also sharing their sadness between each other. It had slight hints of yuri (possibly baiting it) but it was a nice read. Anyways this oneshot was very well executed & Liara definitely is a great girl I would of root for too. Thanks for the translations.

Edit: After doing a re-read of this a nice tidbit is that the guy's surname Shikimura has the kanji for four seasons (Shiki) in it and the four heroines have spring (Haru), summer (Natsu), autumn (Aki), and winter (Fuyu) kanji in their names.

Not to sound pessimistic, but would the comments be as positive if the premise was gender reversed ? Nah, don't think so. I do hope to see such manga here yet, there's already a glut of older girl/young boy(or older girl/younger girl) series of same ilk, we need some love for the reverse too that is not hentai or yuri , sigh...

Is the artist going vanilla? I really like their art style so it'd be nice if they expand their scope.

I remember back in HS when I was chosen until the point that I wasn't. That definitely hurt a lot, and while I haven't spoken to her in...probably that long now...I do know that she's married and has a family, so I can still be happy for her now.

I like how Senri really put into perspective how the typical indecisive harem protagonist who refuses to make any decision (even one where he chooses all of them) on his harem is really making a scumbag playboy move. It ends up stringing all the girls along so they can fawn on him for longer and in increasingly desperate ways because of competition (even if it wasn't intentional on the part of the protag).

Case in point, Liara pulled out all the stops for Kazuki, including sex(!) and she still lost anyway. If Kazuki made his choice much earlier he wouldn't have gotten to have "free sex" with Liara because then she wouldn't have needed to keep escalating her seduction, just for that chance to win him over. He benefited at her expense just by not making any decision: sex with someone she loves but who does not love her back just ends up becoming a painful memory for her. It was also not his first time so there's the possibility he already took advantage of yet another girl before Liara made her desperate last stand.

One could make the argument that Liara could have just given up, but it's her who's chained down by emotions and not him. It's easier for him to reject her early than for her to give up, given he didn't seem to be as strongly in love with her than she was with him. In other words, she needed him more than he needed her, so he ended up taking advantage of that power dynamic.

Kazuki looked like he was being nice not making a decision so the girls wouldn't get hurt, but the ones not chosen all end up getting hurt in the end anyway, so in the long run it really was a scumbag move. He became a playboy in practice (even if he didn't intend to, but we don't know that). A good guy would've just rejected her long before she ended up making more bad memories for herself.

Decent read. Since this came out in 2022 it's unlikely it will get a serialization and was probably not received well enough to justify more from the publisher, which is a shame. I think it would work better if the one-shot was the 1st chapter setup for the story and it continued from there with the little brother romancing the heroin, but I would offer up two changes to the author should they ever see this (unlikely). 1st: Adjust the brothers age to closer to the heroin. Say within 1 or 2 years. 2nd: Go further on the scumbag nature of the older brother.
