Basically, what happens is that at the end of volume 2, the author retcons Sasha's character. Starting from volume 3, the story stops being weird but wholesome and becomes degenerate.

At the end of volume 2, there's an extra chapter titled "Chapter 0: Encounter with the Unknown." This chapter takes place in early April, before the interaction between MC and Sasha in chapter 1. In it, MC is out at night, likely walking home after buying something, when he sees Sasha still in her uniform. He thinks she looks beautiful and sparkling.

Sasha isn't alone—she's with an older guy who seems like a delinquent. The guy asks if they know each other, and Sasha introduces MC as a classmate. Sasha then asks MC not to tell anyone he saw her with this guy. Afterward, Sasha and the guy continue walking, leaving MC standing there, dumbfounded. You don't have to think too much, it's pretty obvious what Sasha was doing with an older guy at night.

It's a short, three-page chapter, but from that point on, Sasha stops being a horny but wholesome character and becomes a character who is a slut. This shift in her character feels like a blatant retcon, especially since the author introduces this "Chapter 0" after 30 chapters, completely altering her behavior from here on forward.

There are some events that support the idea of a retcon. In Chapter 18, Sasha mentions that she’s not as into Sanada-senpai as she is into the MC. This aligns with the portrayal of "Wholesome Sasha" rather than "Slut Sasha" from the doujinshi.
