Yeah this kinda red flag ridden "people" (cuz they're fictional, thus the "") can really only work in a fictional setting where emotions are managed and rationality is inherently stable(?) to make a roller coaster like reading experience. He tweeted, back when the manga was around volume 1, that there’s no universe where Sasha is a virgin. Being sexually active is a key aspect of her character.
That said, this Sasha is pretty tame overall. Also, this doesn’t change her genuine feelings for Master or the evolution her character will have because of them.
Nawh she's unhinged too. Chapter 66-67 gives some backstory.

I do, generally, have a problem with the fact that this does feel like a retcon. Maybe more signs should've been planted? I'm not even sure on her age, or if, looking at the amount of (way, way, way) older sex friends she has, if any of it is legal.

See that's the thing, I enjoy the moral of the story that it's about how sex isn't this big deal. Sasha is a sexually active girl with a past, who tends to be proud about that fact. It's a story where people allowed to be weird, allowed to embrace to be sexual, as a contrast to the heavy purity culture of Japan.
Being sexually active doesn't disavow you from being into other people, nor does it mean that you can't ever be in a relationship again.
The problem is that SHE'S IN MIDDLE SCHOOL!

It loses this entirely good moral of allowing yourself to be sexual. BECAUSE the character is a child, who shouldn't be having this much sex with this many, far older people. Literally, if Sasha weren't a middle schooler, if the author wasn't so obviously into lolis, then this manga would surely be pretty great, because it has a great moral for an ecchi manga.

Funnily enough I think it's always the authors that are quite degenerate or weird that end pulling some themes pretty well rather than a more 'moral' person.
I personally think the way the author did this one here in particular one better than others much like the one you mentioned, because the others try to make the FMC 'pure of heart' and a victim of circumstances, but yeah like you said, the age here doesn't really help and it makes more nonsensical, but it's not like the author is trying to do some deep story in that regard anyway, it just happened that he hit some interesting character beats by making a story of a doujin character. We can only hope for something similar in a more appropriate setting like college.
