Ok... call me crazy, but I actually kinda like this new asymmetric dynamic. It's somewhat like if "In the Gardens of Gehenna" was perplexingly a light hearted romcom. The contrast makes for good tension.
I just cross my fingers hoping Haguhagu doesn't get carried away and make things even more messed up. A fools hope perhaps.

Isnt that weird that’s everyone’s knee jerk reaction? Like we’ve all seen couples kiss in manga before, even non-virgins kissing- without such a reaction. Maybe it’s since she’s concurrently with another partner while kissing another it raises some subconscious concern?

It’s an issue of content and volume. We the audience KNOW that Sasha (likely) is a next level slut, who is either still actively practicing or only recently stopped.

They’re also likely doing it to avoid further emotional investment in the character since the author has made it clear that that’s a poor move.
