I absolutely love how different Balzac is from the typical otome isekai parent. He's not a hardass, super (in)competent no-nonsense asshole with a secret soft side, tempered by hardship or some other dumb crap.

No, he's a blueblood idiot. We often see characters like him as minor or side antagonists. But here, he's just a nuisance since he's on our side. That's genuinely hilarious.
