Seeing how I could understand the promo better than this one, I believe it's the current artist's inability to convey the novel into a comic.
I don't mind the artstyle honestly but the pacing's bad, some scenes and emotions weren't conveyed properly and I'm most irked with MC's inconsistent portrayal of personality- at the beginning you get the feeling that she's a quiet cool-type of girl, then during the wine scene she suddenly became this girl of action, she then turned into this cutesy type as a child and in this chapter she became talkative and rebellious?? With absolutely no build up at all.
In the promo, you can immediately see that she's the cool but spunky type and is ambitious, which explains her decision during the wine scene.
