Thanks for picking this up, new translator! I was wondering when could this fascinating tale get another chapter, under so many other groups before!

The introduction pages were really good (and the cover art is looking awesome), except that the “remarks“ pages are kind of random, and are some pretty insignificant things that seems just like some little jokes by the author. If anything, the weapon of choice and artifacts for each person sound much more interesting.

In addition, Toto’s mindset about this situation is exactly what I imagine an experienced leader to be under this type of bus stop management. Really eager to see her encounter the girls with opposing ideals and go on a battle of wits, courage and teamwork bonds.

I have been thinking about why this kind of little girls were chosen in these circumstances, and honestly, (other than the author’s own interests) the explanation wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. If women and children have much better adaptability to the BP, which can statistically lead to better gains with fewer costs, then it’s reasonable that overseers of the system would choose this way.
I mean since when would mortal morals matter when it’s like fighting a flesh and blood (and soul) war against a world hostile to anyone who dares to step foot in there?

Also the pregnancy issues are valid. Those otherworldly places where people could get their minds befuddled, could potentially lead to people losing parts of their humanity and become more like animals. And what do people do when they’re stuck here, suffocated with the pain, the fighting and intense environment? They fuck, of course.
But in all seriousness, emotional needs would be very important in a world where people could get injured and be brought to the brink of death and back, over and over again, while so many people around you could die any day because they may not be strong enough. So living human contact is vital, but pregnancy in such an environment isn’t an option, so a unisex space seems like the best option.
