Search Help?

This is where I cross my fingers and hope I'm tossing it in the right place. //dead

A few minutes ago, I had the website squished over to one side of the screen, where you have to open the drop-down menu to see the search bar. However, it wouldn't allow me to type or search with the search bar there. When I widen the screen to the typical website format, it searches fine. Is this a bug or something??

So you're on laptop/MAC.. But currently seeing the UI for mobile... How curious.

For various reasons this is a problem I wasn't even aware of even though apparently everyone else in the staff were.

Skipping the details here, for now you can use clicking on the magnifying glass button as a dirty trick to activate the search field. The actual, real fix should come with a proper UI update later on.

Also, seeing the mobile UI on desktop is nothing especially curious, it's simply defined based on the available width on the screen. You can test it by making the browser window smaller.

No wonder when I go desktop on mobile it doesn't really change anything beside logging me out.
