Search limited to 313 pages? [Not a bug]

When using advanced search or even just checking updates you can only view up to 313 pages of results (or perhaps up to some number of entries which coincides with 313 pages). Obviously its pretty rare that you would need to check beyond that, but I feel its worth asking if this is a known bug and if so if it's something that can be fixed.

It's intentionally limited to 10000 results.
Not a bug, so it can't be fixed.

If you filter by a genre, you'll get up to 10k results for that genre, and so on. Why do you need to see page 314 of a query?
