mhm yeah i assumed the dude was looking down on the twins and purposefully went against their recommendation for selfish reasons whether it be because of the inheritance of being the tribe leader or such. i can see why he'd challenge the decision if tier/floor rankings determined one's strength but i think its p clear he challenges their decision not out of concern for the tribe but for pride or selfishness

Ok guys i will admit im growing alot more fond of this mask but i still find it more goofy than intimidating
I mean a mask with no features at all despite being white and having eye holes
Is alot more scary dont you think?
This one is just edgy but i guess it has its moments like when he emerged from the fog or basicly any time he is taller than someone, it also matches his new outfit very well
I just think there could have been alot or better alternatives like
An oni mask
A Skull mask with a hat of some kind
A white mask like the 2nd he wore but maybe different in some way, maybe have a simple symbol like a line for the eyes
Or maybe he could have a mask that covers not just his face but also his eyes, this could be explained as the mask is transparent to the owner and may even help with eyesight?
I guess this would rid us of the times when his eyes glow yellow during tense moments so he looks really intimidating with those bright yellow eyes and fierce predatory aura but i think that the artist is so skilled they could probably make him still incredibly frightening
God i love intimidating MCs that are both kind and caring but also unforgiving and ruthless
This story is very similar to solo leveling in many ways but i refuse to believe that they are even remotely the same thing,
This is one of the most well crafted and consistently interesting revenge porn stories i have ever read, not only is the MC not the direct victims but he also has plenty of battle experience, they dont zoom through the targets and enslave the girl to use as sex slaves like most mangas would, its not needlessly gory but just enough for us to feel satisfied when he is done torturing the targets and bad guys, even the villains and "scum" have clear motives and reasons to do what they are doing that you can understand but you never sympathize with them because you always know their situation could always have been completely avoided by being a better person and even though the MC sometimes does some morally questionable stuff you never feel hes doing bad because either it is something he must do or the bad guy obviously deserved it
This story is so very well writen and the art is top quality and the artist knows how to illustrate atmosphere and aura perfectly
Each chapter is delisciously long and dont seem to end in frustratingly painful cliffhangers
Also the MC never starts out a wuss and has a reason why he achieves and knows what he does without it just being luck or him acting unaturally out of character, though he does change a bit from when he started in the tutorial it was confirmed he was always a nice and caring person but there were just too many bad guys and gore to see that
The story has an interesting and semi-original world but its not a "urgh another solo leveling clone, lets just read it because solo leveling is good and the clones also tend to be" now i will admit i though that in the first 2 chapters but this is just so unique that it would be insulting to call it a solo leveling clone, i would very much argue that this is almost on par with solo leveling and that many people will probably just say solo leveling is better just cuz it was first
The worldbuilding is great and well explained and it obviously has very deep lore
As good as it is a thing i dont like is how seemingly effortlessly the MC dose stuff, i would like the MC to fail sometimes and for those failures to then lead him to another maybe just as good alternative which could help with worldbuilding, i know its already writen so what i say has no impact
Anyway i ranted alot, sorry but i just like ranting i guess, dont take what i said to heart as most of this was opinion but do keep in mi-

@kitsunegir100 If you look on the previous chapters and pages, you can see a black mist is at the bottom of the egg which is, what I'm guessing, is his dark energy.
