@theShear: I agree, it's one of the things that set him apart from your average male manga MC. The most remarkable part of that was how it's likely how such a male MC's mind works. The author's showing some awareness of his peers' shortcomings, it seems.

Normally, I don't care about flatchested girls, but Carol is remarkably cute. She took a big step up once she went from pantyhose to thighhighs, too--perhaps it was the beginning of a different kind of "charm". As for Ichinojou, good on him for remembering Haru. Another problem with spineless male MCs, especially in romcoms or harems, is how all it takes for them to forget a girl they have interest in (or are even in a relationship with) is for another girl to appear before him and subject him to her feminine wiles.

Finally, I had a feeling Haru would be fine with it for exactly that reason. She's another example of an ideal wife; an ideal wife can't be with just any man, though, and Ichinojou's proven himself worthy.

Japan has an issue with new births because of how they tend to be less confrontational and and how porn has become widespread. Lonely people can just watch and play games, and thus are less likely to go after a real people. Thus, less births.

Monogamy has nothing to do with it, as if you look at the various Mennonite communities around the world, they get married—one man and one woman—and have over 10 kids.

It's only once modern medicine (most kids under 5 live) and conveniences kick in (not everyone is a farmer) that the number of kids born gets reduced.

now you said it, it might be true. i always though why japan are so open with their sex industries was to promote having kids. but as you said it's also true for the opposite.

btw not many family had 10 kids these days, there's some in rural area but not much

Kinda hoped the Harem tag, was an error. As the MC didn't show any sexual interest in the other girls up untill now, and only focused Haru. I'd much rather having the MC stick with one Lover/partner. Actual harem stories usually ruins my enjoyment of stories, so this one went from a good 7/10 to 5/10.

Now...about this "other" manga....isn't there a manga where the mc gets isekaied, saves a wolf girl and finds that she is her childhood friend who died in their original world? Dammit, i can't remember the name....i thought this was it, but in this other manga, he saves her from bandits, not from slavery
