NGL, I kinda like the thought of them being sent back home and being incarcerated for the disappearance of their child. Would even find it more hilarious if they claimed people in fancy clothing used a magic portal to kidnap Ai.Crossing my fingers this isn't another LN ad, because this is wholesome!
And some potential with the bio parents maybe coming back in the future as demon lord lackeys seeking revenge? That would be an interesting take.
I agree on that. I was pleasantly surprised to see the bad parents being isekai'd, but disappointed how little it was explored and quickly resolved. They were more a plot device to motivate the two MCs than anything else. This looks cute, but the parents popping up was really a dud development; it should have been a dramatic and intense moment, and it seems like it should raise tons of questions, but instead the parents popped up out of nowhere, didn't seem to care that they were isekai'd, and then were unceremoniously sent back (and all in the opening chapter at that!).![]()
I could easily see them being on the run and step thrue a portal without noticing. Then all they would know is that the object of their troubles is surrounded by people in weird clothing. Then their selfish and self-entitled instincts would kick in and all they would see is some assholes preventing them from obtaining the solution to charges of abuse, abandonment, and possible sale or murder of their child. This looks cute, but the parents popping up was really a dud development; it should have been a dramatic and intense moment, and it seems like it should raise tons of questions, but instead the parents popped up out of nowhere, didn't seem to care that they were isekai'd, and then were unceremoniously sent back (and all in the opening chapter at that!).![]()
I like this, adds some closure for the young Ai.Also a prediction the black haired woman who isekai'd Ai, was Ai herself as an adult. Perhaps she's the one who also sent her parents too?
I like this, hope the story is more focused on wholesome family relationship and avoiding heavy drama or conflict.
