I was already mildly annoyed (only mildly since I haven't touched AMG in 5ever) with how chaste it has been but this sounds insane.

Yup the chastity was a plot point. Though it's in incredibly frustrating one. A hidden term of contract between Keichii and Belldandy was that he would be forcibly purged of all sexual desires towards her. Because something bad happened similarly in the past. And she knew but didn't want to tell him because she didn't want any of that to effect their relationship.

It ain't all fun and games, apparently. Author's "Goddess Ex Machina" does mean the other girls stand more than a ghost of a chance now, however. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Glad little Letia is with a proper mom, but man, sure feels sad letting her go.
