Because it’s a masterpiece. I am not over exaggerating when I compared it to Berserk. I unironically think it has some of the most impressive art, shading, and screen tones ever put to print.

But as you say, it’s been two years and it’s still on hiatus but it’s not dead. The artist/author is working on other stuff rn (hentai) as that pays the bills.
