I don't think it is personally, however this adaptation has been fucked over by it release schedule.
It's also gotta come to terms with the fact it follows different storyline than the anime as Ones LN and the other WN, that's defo made it harder for this adaptation as the anime changed alot of details and jumbled the story even from the Novel.

novels adaptations are da wae tho... there's always massive stuff lost when anime is an adaptation of a manga witch is also an adaptation of the novel...
