Yes I am not saying that it wasn't helpful, it clearly was for some. I was however saying that it was prefaced as our conversation being wrong because we missed "what it was about" - but then reiterating the stuff we were talking about.

ps: to be clear - since I belatedly just now realized it could've been interpreted in a demeaning fashion - I didn't label it as "wall of text" to argue it was too long to read (I did read it). MC told the store to hide his identity, they did, and now he wonders why the adventure guild can't find him? The story overall is ok, but his way of resolving the problem is confusing af. The problems started with everyone underestimating the Spirit mage, but he had like 2 chances to prove them wrong, and he didn't. He chose a long-term plan to make them regret, but his ego keeps kick in, making it very annoying.

The math on page 8 is making me scratch my head. At first I thought it was a translation issue, but no the raw says the same thing. "This time" ten nights for 100,000, yet he's somehow calculating that to 5k per night? 100,000 / 10 = 10,000...so there's no discount? Yet she insists he only pays 5k per night...but...5k * 10 = 50,000.
Seriously making me question my math skills disregard. Forgot he asked for 2 rooms. The raws mentioned 2 rooms but the TL didn't in that block of text so I was confused. Nvm, ignore please!

Thanks for the chapter.

MC should just buy a house or title of nobility if he wants to flex on the guild. He has 4 S-class+ spirits under contract and can eradicate that floor record.

The only weakness is inevitable targeting of the disciples who need medium class spirits and continual prudence, along with close party cooperation and travel, to avoid the pushback from the power seeking / inevitable vengeance of the guild (while being independent).

MC could probably erase the kingdom entirely if desired at this point.

Yeah. The adventurers guild really doesn't matter. Unsure why he ever thought they did, once he had found a legal route to sell drops to other merchants.

The adventurer's guild is and was important for one thing only: the guild card.

Before entering the city he was given a choice on how to present himself in this world: an adventurer, merchant or mercenary. He chose adventurer, which naturally lead him to the adventurer's guild. In order to enter the city legally, he needs an ID, which the guild card can be used as. If he wants to enter the dungeon, he'll need to present a guild card to the guards.

All the other stuff about improving the spirit users' image and getting back at the adventurer's guild came after he visited them. He sold his monster orbs there, but I'm sure they could also be sold at the shop. He could probably still switch to become a merchant and get an ID from the merchant/commercial guild, but I assume he'll still need that adventurer's guild card to enter the dungeon.
