Doesn't seem so. As far as I can tell, the mangaka seems committed to Arisu and Tan. Which I'm not really a fan of, to be honest. I'd imagine others like it well enough, but I really just don't. I feel like Arisu's scary gimmick, while still existing, was basically written off so she could be Tan's wrangler, essentially. She feels like the most shafted main character in terms of dynamic with the MC by a good margin.

It's one of those things where you'd think pairing off a girl with a non-MC could be a good thing, but the way it's implemented just sorta rubs you the wrong way. Maybe it's because there are more teases between Ume/Tan than there are Ume/Arisu. You could say that a more platonic relationship between the MC and a girl is a good thing, but it's gotten to the point it barely feels like a relationship at all. I dunno, I just read through the whole thing, and it bugged me.

how do i read this

Despite there being an animation short on YouTube, like “Debby the Corsifa“, there may never be an anime. But this came out 2022 so if there isn’t a season 1 by 2026, I’d suggest losing hope. If there is an anime, watch 12 episodes and then jump into the manga from a mid point.

another possibility is to start at the current chapter. This series is designed with minimal continuity and the characters shine just enough that you should understand their wants/hates.

a third possibility is to pace yourself with 5 chapters per day. Binge reading it might give you a bad impression of a fine series showcasing character and comedy over plot and romance. The 4 panel is just there to carry the jokes, the traditional manga panel pacing is the real meat.

The author isn’t plastering characters, I think they’ll remember the president’s brother, the opportunistic teacher, the backstory of the femboy, and many more unresolved sadness… so that might be remedied with a reddit forum or reading from the beginning and keeping up.

Alright Im starting to get the point of being annoyed because, like, bro, their is no shot EN translations is literally 23 Chap behind Spanish translations and 28 Chap behind Japanese translations I understand that this process of translations, cleaning, etc. might take a bit, but it shouldn't be at the point where we are more than 20 chapters behind. I didnt mind being so behind at first but now Im just getting annoyed to the point where I've been thinking of just dropping the manga due to these slow updates, I've even gone to the point of picking up 20 new mangas to read while I wait for the new chapters and still no updates from EN side Please someone pick it up already
