@Lilliwyt Just from that description of it, it totally sounds like she said something typical of Shino and that'll be the joke next time around. That she said something dirty there even though it looked perfect for a confession or such. Wouldn't be an unusual way to handle things either, they probably made that without knowing they would get a continuation. Keep it looking meaningful but still ambiguous and you leave a door open for later.

@Glomoro We find out what she said in the next OVA. It was a lewd joke, of course, but then she apologizes to Tsuda and says she just can't help herself. Tsuda then promises he'll always be by her side to retort on her jokes.
