well at least thats reasonable(to them anyway) if the elves only keep to themselves, they'd already have a hard time trusting a random human but now two walked up with 3 rather powerful monsters considering where they came from chappi isnt much lower and seems pretty nice, now he's got the macho bro, the gentlemanly knight and the softy haha.
looks to me like the real issue is gonna be the ahole pope lol, if he knows its a special class like 'pope' then he's probably the one that'll have him go from monster tamer to demon load. though a series of misunderstandings was what i was originally expecting.
