Sykes was never his brother, if Kyle's ever called him that it's just in the sense of familiarity. Sykes was a kid from a higher class who got into a duel with Kyle and got sent to F class with Kyle+co as a result of losing.

Leonard (the student here) is Kyle's actual brother. His name comes up briefly in chapter 1 when his parents are talking about throwing out Kyle.

It was translated as “Raizack” in the early chs, so according to the TL note author preferred “Razack”, which means that “Raizack” is how the author wants Razack to be phonetically pronounced (REI-zak instead of RAH-zak). So i guess this TL doesn’t like that it’s written as Razack (which i think looks better)
