For shaved ice, corn dogs and elephant ears would be my two pairing choices. Maybe fish n' chips if that's the easiest to source because Wednesday.
I doubt they would sell chips together with fish. That's like the most random menu, and unnecessarily hard to make chips when you can simply do fries instead.
Though chicken and chips are rather normal, so maybe it is just a cultural thing to have a bag of chips with some types of meat based foods?

Are you perhaps unfamiliar with with the entire country of Great Britain and the source of the english language?

I don't think the casino plot was a good idea😅. It threw the story in a weird direction, completely off course and tangenting towards a series of filler chapters😑. Plus, how are you gonna make her lucky as all hell EXCEPT for when she hits up the casino? It ended up feeling super-forced just because of that major difference in her luck.

I'm actually shocked that they didn't end up going with japanese curry.
I'm doubly shocked that they acknowledged the difficulty of sourcing spices in a non-globalized fantasy world.
right? something i never thought it would be tackled on this goofy ass manga
rona became all knowing all seeing because she able to exploited the mechanics and gain lots benefit from it
the only thing she made by her own so far is just a mayo, really simple to make if you got enough elbow grease when you mixed it

which makes the casino scene so hilariousbecause it's the first thing with no loophole in it (game broken beyond belief but possible monetization mechanic totally fine, truly modern AAA experience)

This partnership of a serious, intelligent person and one who is on their own level of quirkiness, reminds me of another classic duo.

Even in America fish n chips is the most common name given to a plate of beer-battered fried fish with french fries on the side. Beyond that, french fries are called chips in England, with potato chips being called crisps. Whichever side of the pond you're from, you should absolutely understand what I was saying here.

Kinda feel bad for Konoha, like she is starting to realise that she has been given an impossible mission and if ms Spy even reports a fraction of the shit Rona does she will lose her job due to crazy talk.

I don't live in america though, so for me chips refer to the thin potato slices. And yes, I have obviously encountered brittish people calling that dish by that name, with a tl/n attached explaining their use of imperial units ingredient-names. But this time the tl/n was absent, so I had to assume it was referring to the practice of eating chips with your meat (which happens for poultry, at least). :win:

Lmao considering she was focused on leveling up/getting good food, i think her 'style' is decent even if the eyes look a bit dark lol

E-elephant ears? (Looking it up it showed a plant tho i did expect it to be like a 'corn dog' and just some fried batter thing in that shape lol

I guess the 'explode' is either a reference to that Food Wars(?) series if not just reviews of the 'gods' saying something like "Explosion of flavor" (tho i'd expect Rona to come across the phrase "mouthgasm" first /shot xD)

Probably b/c as a 'stall' it'd prolly be 'handheld' foods/actual JP festival chapters in animanga you wouldn't see curry there either versus like Yakisoba bread and such (but i wouldn't be surprised if there was some places that's like a "sit down" area where you can order bowls of ramen too

It looks like the complicated part was just the Worcestershire sauce. The recipe is just W-sauce, ketchup, sugar, and fish broth. W-sauce is just a pain to make/spell.

(also chapter title isn't translated but it's something like "I/We Had a strategy meeting"

I know W-sauce is popular in some places but i imagine even for Rona it'd be hard to make a 'homemade' ver unless she also had a 'store purchase' option like campfire cooking did lol, tho even anything that's not salt and pepper would hopefully be easy to make if they were able to make mayonnaise tho i'd expect you'd want something a bit 'lighter' versus wanting some deep fried thing

Is it a mistranslation or an error in the original work when they say "cold temperatures make it harder to taste sweetness"?
