I suppose they have "pride" and admitting to having a "weak useless" person be born from their blood is worse deal than just getting rid off her. If it was a bit more dark manga they probably would have sold her to slavers or something.

So the entire inciting incident is that no one knows that SSS is a higher ranking than A... But apparently they do know still know English's alphabetical order to expect that "SSS" must be later than "G"? And yet the MC didn't recognize those characters on her keyboard.

No wonder every adventuring guild in other fantasy manga always starts off with an explanation of the ranking system to make sure there is no confusion about this.
