This got me in the feels
I assume it’s the friend saying “live for this city by leaving” but regardless all of them are dicks. Like you’re sending him out to his “presumed” death (we know it isn’t considering the cover) so you can at least be nice. They deadass made him pull cart on his own like he’s jesus or some shit

@Fajken : his parents are dead, that was made clear in the previous part. As to the girl, they way it flows, it half feels like she is also telling him to leave for the cities well being.
That said, the towns reaction really feels like there is something that they are missing, as no god worth being worshiped would randomly give people death sentences. Though the town does deserve punishment giving a death sentence to someone for no crime even though they were saved by his parents sacrifice, which was partly to ensure the MC's safety.

Well the people could have treated him worse I suppose. Often see these types of stories where they try to kill the MC themselves.

@Greenfrost Yeah, I was okay with the city's decision first because they were at least nice about exiling him, but then a ton of people start treating him like a monster so I wish he would have lead them to the city as a final "f*ck you"

@AlphaFlow The fact that the chapters are literally released in parts and the translators are trying to release their translations as fast as possible? I do not see how that is lazy but guess you do you.
Exile for the person and even his parents sacrificed everything for... yah that city deserves to be destroyed. Like others have mentioned, there are still ways he can be useful to the city without needed to exile him. Heck, if he can control when the ability is active, he will pose no threat to the city.
